Widely considered one of the most respected G.K. Chesterton scholars in the world today. Dale Ahlquist is the current President of the Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton. Many will know him for his  popular series The Apostle of Common Sense found on EWTN. He is also the publisher of Gilbert! magazine. Dale has written five books on Chesterton, including Common Sense 101: Lessons from G.K. Chesterton and The Complete Thinker.

An internationally renowned speaker, Dale has given more than 600 lectures at a wide variety of venues and locations in such prominent locations such as  Yale, Columbia, Cornell, Notre Dame, Oxford, the Vatican Forum in Rome, and the House of Lords in London as well as many diocesans and church conferences.

He is also the co-founder of Chesterton Academy, a classical high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which has been rated one of the Top 50 Catholic High Schools in the nation, and is the chairman of the Chesterton Schools network, which now includes fifteen high schools in the U.S., Canada and Italy. He and his wife Laura currently live in Minneapolis and have six children.
