Greg and Jennifer Willits

Greg Willits
For over four years Greg was the host of “The Catholics Next Door,” a daily 3-hour talk show on SiriusXM’s The Catholic Channel, which he’s continued co-hosting with his wife, Jennifer, as a free weekly podcast. He’s interviewed hundreds of well known Catholic and entertainment personalities from Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Dr. Scott Hahn to Julie Andrews and Kevin Bacon and everyone in between.

Greg and Jennifer are the co-founders of New Evangelizers, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people know their faith more deeply, live their faith more fully, and share their faith more successfully. Additionally, they have founded several other apostolates including Rosary Army, Total Consecration, and Promote Catholicism, all designed to help people develop a greater relationship with Jesus Christ.

In 2007 Greg was named a leader in Catholic New Media by the Franciscan University of Steubenville and he continues to find new and innovative ways of sharing our faith.

Greg is the founding President and original Chief Operations Officer of the Star Quest Production Network (SQPN), a worldwide apostolate dedicated to leading the way in Catholic New Media. Under Greg’s leadership, SQPN became the primary destination for people looking for high quality Catholic podcasts and new media. He conceived, executed, and hosted the first Catholic New Media Conference in 2008, and the annual event continues to draw hundreds of Catholics each year who are interested in using New Media for the New Evangelization. Working closely with her husband, Greg, Jennifer has helped create and host numerous Catholic new media productions that have collectively been downloaded nearly 5 million times.

Greg’s “That Catholic Show” video series is used in parishes worldwide and his various online new media initiatives have been downloaded nearly 5 million times. It is hosted by his wife, Jennifer.

The podcast edition of “The Catholics Next Door” won the 2011 Catholic New Media Awards for Best Group Podcast and Most Entertaining Podcast.

In 2011, “Mass Confusion,” a sitcom pilot Greg created premiered on CatholicTV. Co-written and co-starring his wife, along with their good friends, Mac and Katherine Barron, in 2012, “Mass Confusion” was awarded both the prestigious Gabriel Award and People’s Choice Silver Telly Award for efforts in Entertainment.

His book, co-authored with his wife, is entitled “The Catholics Next Door: Adventures in Imperfect Living” and is available from Servant Books. His next book, focusing on the New Evangelization, will also be published by Servant Books in early 2013. He is also a contributor to Pauline Books and Media’s upcoming title, “Faith and Fatherhood” (edited by Brian Caulfield from the Knights of Columbus’ Fathers for Good ministry) and Greg has written the foreword to Sarah Reinhard’s 2012 title, “Catholic Family Fun: A Guide for the Adventurous, Overwhelmed, Creative or Clueless,” also from Pauline Books and Media.

Greg has been featured on many media outlets including EWTN’s Life on the Rock, Relevant Radio, Catholic Answers LIVE, Catholic Exchange, National Catholic Register, Envoy Magazine, and Faith and Family Magazine.

Married since 1995, Greg and his wife, Jennifer, are the parents of four sons and a daughter.
